ONYRIQ has received more than half a million euros in funding from the European Union to bring its technology to a European project that aims to develop new recyclable, multifunctional and bio-based epoxy resin composites for the aeronautics and automotive sectors.
The Catalan company, dedicated to the R&D of new polymeric materials that generate a high social, economic and environmental impact, participates as a partner in the REPOXYBLE project, which began on December 1st, 2022. An initiative that has a total budget of 3.8 million euros and a duration of 42 months.
The LOOP technology that ONYRIQ will provide consists in epoxy systems, fully depolymerizable in aqueous media, which allow the recovery of the starting materials in a closed-loop fashion.
ONYRIQ's recyclable systems will be used for the formulation and design of composite parts that will feature high bio-based content, high performance, as well as full recyclability.
The funding received will serve for the consolidation and growth of the company’s circular economy and sustainability research line. At the same time, it will bring to the market one of the most promising technologies in its portfolio and the one that has generated more interest among the world's leading producers of epoxy resins.
In Clúster MAV we work hard to offer a differentiated value proposition to our partners in accordance with our values: commitment, excellence, collaboration, involvement, quality and trust.
